Identifying the characteristics and the types of multi-functional development is the practical need of inheritance and protection and revitalized use of traditional villages, which is a key issue of such villages in this process. With the cases of 44 national-level traditional villages in Yixian county, the paper adopts the multi-index comprehensive method and the coupling coordination model, and scientifically measures the multi-functional development and the coordinated state of the traditional villages, and defines their types, and presents the guidance strategies for the protection and development of traditional villages. The results show that: (1) The characteristics of the multi-functional development in Yixian are remarkably different among the traditional villages, with the co-existence of advantage and disadvantage functions. The multi-functional coordination of most villages is in the transitional coordination and dysfunctional recession. (2) According to the development of multi-functional coordination, the traditional villages in this county falls into three categories, namely coordinated development, transitional coordination and dysfunctional recession. Therefore according to advantage and disadvantage functions, five sub-types are identified, such as comprehensive development type, residence life type, idyllic sightseeing type, and specialty industry type. (3) Differentiated guidance strategies are adopted for the protection and utilization of different types of villages, i.e. overall upgrading the development quality and regional linkage of coordinated developing villages, promoting the development with characteristics of transitional coordination villages, and shrinking and transforming development of dysfunctional recession villages. Multi-functional coordinated development is a vital approach to protection and revival of the traditional villages, the differentiated multi-functional system evolution of the traditional villages, and diversity of multi-functional coordinated development lead to the diversification of the protection and utilization of the traditional villages. Aiming at the multi-functional coordinated development of traditional villages, the paper reiterates differential guidance for the protection and use of traditional villages so as to provide theoretical support and practical guidence for the protection and development of traditional villages.

Improving the level of rural amenity is an inevitable requirement to meet the growing needs of the people and achieve rural revitalization. Comprehensive land consolidation provides a new path for amenity-driven rural development. The paper constructs the conceptual framework and index system of rural amenity based on the theory of local consumerism, the theory of rural multifunctionality and the theory of demand hierarchy, analyzes the influence mechanism of comprehensive land consolidation on rural amenity from the perspective of multifunctionality of land use, and utilizes questionnaire survey data from villagers and tourists in 10 tourist villages in 6 districts and counties in Wuhan metropolitan area, and uses analytic hierarchy process method, entropy value method and difference-in-difference method to explore and study the level of regional amenity and the amenity enhancement effect of comprehensive land consolidation. The study finds that: (1) Rural amenity is a kind of rural characteristic that embodies the quality of local consumer goods, has the function of consumption, can meet the needs of foreign tourists for rural style living and local villagers for quality of life, and prompts people to feel comfortable and at ease, including natural amenity, production amenity, social amenity, and cultural amenity. (2) Due to different needs of villagers and tourists, there are differences in their evaluations of rural amenity. (3) From the perspective of villagers, comprehensive land consolidation can significantly improve the overall level and various dimensions of rural amenity, and has robustness. In conclusion, in the future, we should increase investment in consolidation funds and expand the scope of consolidation and continue to promote the pilot work of comprehensive land consolidation based on the full consideration of the interests of villagers and tourists, especially the villagers', and the integration of the elements of mountains, water, forests, fields, lakes, grasses and sands.

Chinese rural society has strong vitality and development resilience, which constitutes an important source of power for the stable development of Chinese society, and is also the focus of Chinese cultural self-confidence and construction of cultural power. However, the interpretation of traditional village resource value from the traditional dual perspective of "structure-active system" can no longer meet the demand of resource production and consumption under the rapid iteration of technology, and the resource value of traditional villages should be re-recognized through a new perspective. The new perspective needs to effectively identify the dynamic impact of technology-driven actions and rules of various subjects on traditional villages, so as to construct the value generation logic in the new scenario of traditional village resources. Based on this, this paper puts forward the "technology-institution-subject" theoretical framework of traditional village resource value generation, aiming to answer the question how traditional village resources achieve new resource shaping and value innovation. Through a large number of traditional village field surveys conducted over a long period of time, this paper selects Cuandixia village, Jidi village, Xiarong village, Cangdong village, Puji village and Mingyue village as typical type cases. Through a long period of traditional village field surveys, this paper interprets the mechanism of linking and reengineering of technologies, integration and enabling of institutions, endogeneity and renewal of subjects, and the interaction, mutual construction and transformation between the three dimensions. The research finds that traditional village resources are a system based on the resource ontology (system), integrating the internal and external functions of the village, and the proposal of the theoretical framework of "technology-institution-subject" will effectively respond to the realistic contradictions and development needs of the protection and utilization of traditional village resources. In the New Era, traditional villages have a new development mission and role. When traditional villages move towards "rural revitalization", they should continue to take into account the comprehensive and systematic development perspective, make full use of the potential energy of technology to the countryside, leverage the efficiency of the new village traditional system, the new system, and the internal and external entities, and break the linear and rigid development path with the three dimensions of technology, system and subject as the driving force.

The effective use of natural resources and the realization of the value of ecological products are the core links in the revitalization of rural industry. Based on a typical case study of Shicha village in Haikou, this paper explores the value realization mechanism of rural ecological products from the perspective of "resource-asset-capital". It is found that the capitalization of rural natural resources presents the conversion path of "value potential-value manifestation-value formation-value realization". Firstly, the village collective needs to judge the characteristics of village ecological resources scientifically, so as to promote the internalization of resource advantages into matching distinctive ecological products. Secondly, it needs to effectively integrate external factors to complete the capitalization of assets with the support of village "two committees" (CPC village committee and the villagers committee), governmental departments, industrial and commercial capital and other forces. Finally, the multidimensional value of ecological products at the economic, ecological and social levels needs to be realized through full product marketization. This paper contributes a new theoretical basis and logical thinking to the study of rural natural resources development, and provides practical inspiration for the development and expansion of new rural collective economy.
