1. Open Access Statement
Journal of Natural Resources flipped to an open access journal in 2024, using the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license. All articles published in the journal from issue 1 of 2024 onwards are open access works, which are archived on the journal's official website immediately after publication and are permanently available to all users free of charge. Users may copy, distribute and use these articles under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license.
In addition, articles published in the journal from 2010 to 2023 are also turned to open access, available to all users free of charge on the journal's official website. Users may copy, distribute, and use them under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license.
Please note that articles published before 2010 are not open access. The copyright of these articles belongs to the editorial office of the journal, and all rights are reserved by the editorial office. Users who require these articles may access them through China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) or other platforms on a paid basis.
2. Open Access License
The journal uses the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license, which allows all users to copy, distribute, and use the open access articles published in the journal in any media and format, provided that they follow the terms of the license, including:
When copying and distributing the open access articles published in the journal, users must provide appropriate attribution, include a link to the license, and indicate if any changes have been made to the original article. Attribution may be done in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the journal endorses the use. The articles cannot be used for commercial purposes. 3. Copyright Policy
Authors are required to sign and submit a Copyright Transfer Agreement at the time of submission. According to this agreement, once an article is accepted by the journal, the author(s) will transfer all transferable copyrights of the entire article and any figures, tables, abstracts, or other extractable parts of the article (including but not limited to the rights of reproduction, distribution, information network dissemination, performance, translation, compilation, adaptation, etc.) to the editorial office of Journal of Natural Resources. The editorial office of the journal will be the copyright holder of the article.
After an article has been published in the journal, the author(s) of the article have the right to use the article under the following circumstances:
(1) The author(s) may use the article under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license, for example, using the article in non-commercial academic communications, reports, lectures, and other activities.
(2) Using the article for patent applications.
(3) Using the article for other activities permitted and authorized by the editorial office of the journal.
4. Author Self-Archiving
Authors are allowed to store all versions of their articles in an institutional or other repository of their choice. In the repository, it should be indicated that the article was originally published in Journal of Natural Resources.
