Research progress and prospect for the relationships between ecosystem services supplies and demands

Abstract

Understanding the relationships between ecosystem services supplies and demands is of vital importance for sustainably utilizing natural capital and coordinating ecosystem services supplies and demands. According to the previous research on ecosystem services at home and abroad, the research framework of the relationships among ecosystem services supplies and demands was put forward in this study. Within this framework, the formation mechanisms and representations of the relationships between ecosystem services supplies and demands were explained, the basic characteristics of the relationships between ecosystem services supplies and demands were summarized, and the potential research focuses were proposed, which could provide a guidance for the studies on the ecosystem services and the governance of ecosystem services. In general, there were two non-exclusive mechanisms that formed the relationships between ecosystem services supplies and demands. On the basis of these formation mechanisms, the representations of the relationships between ecosystem services supplies and demands included bundles, trade-offs, synergies and no-effect relationships. In terms of the characteristics, the relationships between ecosystem services supplies and demands could be spatially heterogeneous, temporally variable and scale dependent. The construction and evaluation of indexes, statistical analysis of indicators, development and simulation of scenarios, and spatial mappings and analysis were the four main methods to study the relationships between ecosystem services supplies and demands.

生态系统服务是指由生态系统所形成及维持的人类赖以生存的自然环境条件与效用,为人类直接或间接从生态系统中所获得的各种惠益[1,2,3]。自Costanza等[4]首次对全球生态系统服务价值评估以来,许多国际组织与科研机构都以生态系统服务为主题陆续开展了一系列研究计划与项目,并在生物多样性保护、资源环境管理与可持续发展等多领域对生态系统服务进行了应用。不同国家与地区也相继开展了生态系统服务评估与监测工作,并以生态系统服务来指导政策制定与实施。在国内,针对我国日益严峻的生态环境问题,我国政府做出了将生态文明建设提升为千年大计的战略决策,并提出要深入贯彻 “绿水青山就是金山银山”的发展理念,统筹兼顾山水林田湖草管理。在相应管理决策与政策设计中,在减轻贫困和发展经济的同时,确保生态系统服务种类不减少、数量不下降、效益不降低是当前协调经济发展与环境保护面临的重大挑战,因此为生态系统服务相关研究提供了良好的发展机遇与空间。
生态系统服务间关系是不同生态系统服务间的相互作用与相互联系[5]。作为生态系统服务研究中的核心内容之一,深刻理解生态系统服务间关系对于促进自然资本与生态系统服务可持续管理具有重要意义[6,7,8]。生态系统服务分类体系是生态系统服务间关系研究的基础,千年生态系统评估最先对不同生态系统服务主要类型进行了划分,其服务分类体系在生态系统服务初期研究中得到了广泛应用[9,10,11]。后续不同的生态系统服务分类体系也都结合相应自然环境背景与社会经济条件,对千年生态系统评估的服务分类体系进行了发展与完善[12,13]。其中,为了环境经济核算,欧洲环境署提出了生态系统服务国际通用分类体系,其较为细致且排他的分类体系不仅有利于不同生态系统服务的类型识别与指标对应,也有利于不同时空尺度的生态系统服务研究结果比较与规律总结[8,10,14,15]。总体来说,根据生态系统服务现有分类体系设计以及生态系统服务间关系研究实际情况,目前普遍认为可将生态系统服务分为供给服务、调节服务与文化服务三种主要类型。
生态系统服务分类体系反映了生态系统服务种类多样性特征,而对于同种类型生态系统服务来说,又可从服务供需两侧作进一步区分。从供给侧来看,生态系统服务供给包含生态系统服务潜在供给与实际供给两种类型,潜在供给是指在一定时空尺度下生态系统根据其生物物理特性与社会经济属性所能提供生态系统服务的最大阈值[16,17,18,19,20];而实际供给则是指在一定时空尺度下生态系统所提供的能够被实际利用的生态系统服务数量[19,21]。从需求侧来看,生态系统服务需求包含生态系统服务潜在需求与实际需求两种类型。潜在需求是指一定时空尺度下在现有稀缺资源配置下对生态系统服务的期望与偏好程度[6,16,22],而实际需求则是指在一定时空尺度下被实际利用与消费的生态系统服务数量[20,21,23]。
由于缺乏对生态系统服务供给间、供需间与需求间关系的深入认识与理解,在供给侧对从自然资源中所获得的供给服务过分依赖,加剧了供给服务与其他生态系统服务供给间此消彼长的权衡关系,造成了其他生态系统服务供给的数量锐减和分布萎缩[24];而在需求侧生态系统服务不平等陷阱造成了从社会经济不平等到环境不平等的恶性循环,导致生态系统服务需求间的权衡以及生态系统服务供需间差异[25]。
为了减少生态系统服务供给间或需求间权衡、缓解生态系统服务供需间不均衡状况,就要求切实把握不同时空尺度下不同类型生态系统服务供需关系的形成机制、表现形式与基本特征,据此本文提出了生态系统服务供需关系研究框架（图1）。在自然环境因素与社会经济因素影响下,不同生态系统服务供需间不仅有对这些驱动因素的关联响应,也有复杂的相互作用,从而形成生态系统服务供需关系。不同类型服务供需关系主要有四种表现形式,并具有多维性特征。指数构建与评估、指标统计与分析、情景制定与模拟及空间制图与分析四种研究方法可为厘清生态系统服务供需关系提供有力支撑。针对以上生态系统服务供需关系研究内容与方法,本文系统总结了国内外相关研究进展情况,并对未来相关研究方向进行了展望,以期能够为确保生态系统服务持续供需均衡与实现人地耦合复杂系统永续发展提供科学依据。

1 生态系统服务供需关系形成机制与表现形式

生态系统服务供需关系主要产生于两种非排他性机制（图2）。一是通过生态系统服务间相互作用而产生的因果关系,或称为生态系统服务直接关系,既可以是单向的直接作用,也可以是双向的相互影响,比如土壤保持服务与粮食供给服务间存在直接相互作用,前一种服务供给量的提高能够直接对后一种服务起到促进作用;二是通过能够同时影响一种或多种生态系统服务的自然环境因素或社会经济因素而产生的生态系统服务关联关系,或称为生态系统服务间接关系,是在驱动因素影响下生态系统服务共同做出响应而形成。比如水源涵养服务与文化服务间尽管直接相互作用较弱,但在增加城镇用地面积时两种服务会同时产生响应,造成两种服务供给降低[5,19,26-29]。

在此形成机制基础上,一定时空尺度下生态系统服务供需关系主要有四种表现形式：簇、权衡、协同与兼容（图3）[8,19,26,28,30,31]。生态系统服务簇主要发生于生态系统服务供给间与需求间（图3）,是指一系列时空共现的生态系统服务供给或需求[7,32-36]。生态系统服务权衡、协同与兼容则发生于生态系统服务供给间、供需间与需求间（图3）。生态系统服务间具有负反馈性质的此消彼长变化为权衡关系,具有正反馈性质的同向变化为协同关系,当服务间无显著响应关系时则为兼容关系,对于在兼容关系中所涉及的不同服务类型可以单独采取相应政策措施进行管理[1,2,18,36,37]。总体来看,不同类型生态系统服务间权衡、协同与兼容关系具有类型差异性特征,供给服务与其他服务间以权衡关系为主,调节服务与文化服务间则以协同关系为主[8,15,29,38-40]。

2 生态系统服务供需关系基本特征

在不同自然环境因素与社会经济因素相互作用与复杂影响下,不同类型生态系统服务供给间、供需间与需求间关系的基本特征是多维性的,具体表现为包含空间、时间与尺度三个方面的特征。

2.1 生态系统服务供需关系空间特征

在空间维度下,生态系统服务供需关系具有空间异质性特征（图4）。从供给侧来看,不同区域不同类型生态系统结构存在差异,使得其相应生态系统过程与功能会有所区别,其中具有多功能性的生态系统能够提供多重生态系统服务。服务供给间既有同向变化也有此消彼长,在空间环境梯度下表现为不同服务供给总体位于供给空间梯度的高值区间,在空间位置分布上则表现为多种生态系统服务供给在一定距离范围内集聚形成一种或多种生态系统服务供给簇,不同类型生态系统服务簇内相同类型生态系统服务间关系的方向与强度可能会存在差异[26,32,35,38,41-43,48]。而生态系统功能较弱或类型较少的生态系统,则以一种或少数几种服务供给为主,生态系统服务供给间权衡关系与协同关系并存。在空间环境梯度下不同服务供给总体位于供给空间梯度峰值两侧,在空间位置分布上仍能在一定距离范围内集聚形成一种或多种类型的生态系统服务供给簇,不同位置服务供给间权衡或协同的强度也会有所差异[43,44,45,46,47]。例如在我国京津冀地区,具有多功能性的森林生态系统能够以较高水平提供一系列调节服务与文化服务,在空间上集聚成两种生态系统服务供给簇,不同服务簇内娱乐服务与生物多样性维持服务在供给梯度下可表现为同向或异向的非线性变化;而农田生态系统则仅能提供以供给服务为主的少数服务类型,并在空间上形成了多种生态系统服务供给簇,不同服务供给间权衡与协同的强度会随着空间位置变化而变化[49]。

从需求侧来看,多样化利益相关方个体或群体对生态系统服务需求是有限理性、有限自律与有限自利的。认知的有限性使得不同地区不同层次个体或群体无法完全根据其所在地域自然环境条件与社会经济状况而做出对不同类型生态系统服务的理性选择;自律的有限性又使得不同地区不同层次个体或群体在市场失灵与政策失灵时产生对不同类型生态系统服务的非理性需求,从而在不同地区不同利益相关方对不同类型生态系统服务组合的过度偏好与利用间存在地域差异与相互权衡;而自利的有限性则促使不同地区不同利益相关方表现其相对利他、互惠与公平的社会偏好,协调区域间与区域内不同利益相关方对不同类型生态系统服务的需 求[51,52]。总体来看,生态系统服务需求在空间环境梯度下表现为不同类型服务需求此消彼长或同向响应的非线性变化,不同类型生态系统服务需求间权衡与协同关系强度也会有所变化,在超过一定需求水平时,生态系统服务竞争性与排他性会发生变化,从而生态系统服务需求间关系也会相应转换;在空间位置上则表现为不同地区不同类型生态系统服务需求具有地区差异性与空间集聚性,在不同位置形成不同类型生态系统服务需求簇,每种类型需求簇内既可以一种或几种服务需求为主,也可同时对多重生态系统服务都有需求[9,23,33,34,52-56]。
从供需间来看,生态系统服务供给簇与需求簇结构错配主要包括服务供需类型与数量的空间错配。生态系统服务供需类型的空间错配使得生态系统服务供需间关系不论是在空间环境梯度变化下,还是在空间位置变化上都表现为不同强度的权衡关系或兼容关系。例如,Schirpke等[20]对欧洲阿尔卑斯山地区多重生态系统服务供给、流与需求簇间关系进行了研究,结果表明整个山区不同区域在类型错配下生态系统服务供需间多为权衡与兼容关系。生态系统服务供需数量的空间差异则会使得生态系统服务供需关系在空间环境梯度变化下表现为交替损益或同向非线性变化,服务供需关系间变换可能存在阈值或鞍点。例如,Baro等[57]在市域尺度下对西班牙巴塞罗那大都市圈多重生态系统服务供需关系进行了研究,发现在城乡梯度下变化时,大多数生态系统服务供需间关系具有变换阈值,在远离城市地区不同距离内表现出由权衡到协同再到权衡关系的转换,且多数生态系统服务供需间以权衡关系为主,土壤保持服务供需间则表现为协同关系。在空间位置上,一方面不同区域服务高供给—低需求与高需求—低供给间差异不同,则权衡关系强度不同,另一方面不同区域服务低供给—低需求与高供给—高需求间差异不同,则协同关系强度亦会有所区别[21,58-60]。

2.2 生态系统服务供需关系时间特征

在时间维度下,生态系统服务供需关系具有时间变异特征。由于驱动因素对生态系统结构、过程与功能的影响可能具有滞后效应,而生态系统结构、过程与功能对驱动因素的影响又可能存在滞后响应,使得生态系统服务供给间存在快变化与慢变化的相互影响。同时生态系统还会在多稳态间发生转换,不同相对稳态下生态系统的结构、功能与过程均会存在差异。当驱动因素影响未超过一定程度时,不同生态系统结构、功能与过程在一定稳态下具有渐变波动性与变化可逆性,使得不同类型生态系统服务供给间关系能够呈线性或非线性变化且能够逆转[37,61-64];而当具有随机性的驱动因素所产生影响超过一定程度后,不同类型生态系统根据其有无阈值效应、是否变化可逆而发生不同的稳态转换,通过级联效应引起生态系统服务供给簇类型与数量变化,从而生态系统服务供给间关系也会随之改变,且可能具有不可逆性[29,46,65-68]。相应于驱动因素与生态系统服务供给变化,不同利益相关方个人或群体对生态系统服务的认知、时间偏好与消费同样会有线性或非线性的变化,进而使得生态系统服务需求间、供需间关系的时间动态变化更具有不确定性[30,69-71]。
根据生态系统服务供需时间变异特征的一般性与可预测性,Rau等[72]指出生态系统服务供需的线性变化可以是生态系统服务供需连续但非单调的增加或减少,具体表现为供需量连续单调递增或递减变化以及非单调递增与递减的周期性变化,生态系统服务供需非线性变化则是随机的非周期性变化,不同类型生态系统服务供需的两类时间变化同时发生,相互影响,使得生态系统服务间关系时间动态特征具有类型差异性与变化差异性（图5）。在时间上共现的多重生态系统服务供给或需求会形成不同类型的生态系统服务供给簇或需求簇,不同簇内生态系统服务供给或需求的类型多少、数量高低、权衡与协同强度大小、变化可逆与否都可能会存在差异。例如在我国黄河三角洲地区,食物供给服务与生物多样性维持服务间权衡关系强度会随着时间变化越来越强,食物供给服务与碳贮存服务间关系类型则随着时间变化由协同关系变为权衡关系,并再未发生逆转[29];而在加拿大魁北克地区,洪水调蓄服务与娱乐服务供给量间关系除了在强度上会随时间变化外,还在类型上表现出了权衡与协同交替转换的可逆性周期变化,同时不同类型生态系统服务供给簇随着时间变化会逐渐形成以少数类型服务供给为主的不同组合[73]。

2.3 生态系统服务供需关系尺度特征

生态系统服务供需关系具有尺度效应特征。生态系统服务供需的时间尺度主要包括短期或长期的不同时间间隔与持续范围,而生态系统服务供需的空间尺度有所差别,生态系统服务供给产生于一系列生态环境尺度,生态系统服务需求则产生于一系列社会组织尺度[7,74,75]。从供给侧来看,生态系统服务供给单元既可以是有机体,也可以是无机环境,从而生态系统服务供给的生态环境尺度可以包含从植被、样地、生态系统、景观、生物群系到全球等不同的空间粒度与幅度[27,36,76];从需求侧来看,生态系统服务利益相关方可以是对生态系统服务有影响或受生态系统服务影响的个体或群体,从而生态系统服务需求的社会组织尺度可以包含从个人、家庭、县、市、省、国家到国际等不同的空间层级与范围[39,74]。
随着生态环境尺度不断变化,生态系统服务具有其供给的最低尺度阈值,只有在达到该阈值后生态系统服务才能够开始供给,在超过最低尺度阈值后,生态系统服务供给单元不断整合又会形成不同类型的生态系统服务供给单元。供给单元结构与功能差异性和供给尺度阈值类型差异性使得在不同尺度变换阶段不同类型生态系统服务供给相继形成,并呈现线性或非线性变化,从而相应生态系统服务供给簇中服务类型、数量、权衡与协同强度都可能会不断变化[76,77,78,79,80,81]。一方面,空间粒度不同,多重生态系统服务供给间关系可能会有所变化。比如在西班牙加泰罗尼亚与我国宁夏回族自治区,部分类型生态系统服务供给间权衡与协同的方向和强度会随粒度大小产生变化,其他服务供给间权衡与协同情况则不随粒度变化而变化;而在加拿大魁北克地区,生态系统服务供给簇还呈现出在较小的两个空间粒度上基本相似,而在较大空间粒度上则表现出差别[7,82,83]。另一方面,空间幅度不同,所涉及生态系统服务供给单元的类型、结构、过程和功能都会有所变化,并通过级联效应对多重生态系统服务供给间关系产生影响,使得不同类型生态系统服务供给间关系可能会发生系统性变化。比如同样在加拿大魁北克地区,相同粒度、不同幅度下所识别的不同生态系统服务供给簇间存在显著差异[7,27,84]。随着社会组织尺度不断变化,不同尺度上利益相关方个体或群体的利益诉求、价值偏好均会具有多样化特征,相应生态系统服务需求的类型、数量也会有所不同,从而引致生态系统服务需求间关系在不同社会组织层级与范围下可能会有所变化[19,36,54,85]。在西印度洋地区的肯尼亚、坦桑尼亚、马达加斯加与塞舌尔,整个地区所形成的四种生态系统服务需求簇与四国各自形成的生态系统服务需求簇具有明显差异,而在南非市级与区级尺度上所形成的生态系统服务需求簇则基本相似[53,55]。
在不同短期或长期的时间间隔与持续范围内,供给侧不同类型生态系统服务可能始终持续供给,也可能具有周期性或非周期性的供给情况,而需求侧多样化利益相关方个体与群体对不同生态系统服务短期与长期供给的时间偏好存在内生波动以及对跨尺度作用驱动因素的响应,在生态系统服务需求上相应表现为线性或非线性变化,从而在不同时间尺度上生态系统服务供给间或需求间都会形成相应不同类型生态系统服务供给簇或需求簇,其间权衡与协同的方向和强度也可能会有所变化。比如在哥斯达黎加雷文塔松河流域长时间尺度与短时间尺度下不同类型间生态系统服务供给变化量间权衡与协同的强度与方向会存在一定差异[28,69,76]。在供需间,生态系统服务供给时空尺度可以大于、小于或等于生态系统服务需求时空尺度,因此服务供需间关系也具有时空尺度变化特征,其中供需时空尺度错配是造成供需间权衡的主要原因之一[80,86,87]。

3 生态系统服务供需关系研究方法

生态系统服务供需关系及其驱动因素研究方法主要包括指数构建与评估、指标统计与分析、情景制定与模拟及空间制图与分析四种方法,多种方法统筹利用、优势互补,将有助于全面理解与准确把握生态系统服务供需关系及其驱动因素的复杂特征与总体规律。

3.1 指数构建与评估

指数构建与评估是指通过构建或评估单一关系表征指数来归并多样化生态系统服务供需指标,具体包括构建与评估服务类型差异性指数与数量差异性指数。在侧重量化类型差异性指数的构建中,一方面可以通过设定服务供给或需求水平阈值,以超过阈值水平的服务类型总数来对比类型时空差异性[42];另一方面可以通过测度多样性指数（如香农多样性指数）来分析服务类型差异性,这一方法在不同尺度生态系统服务供需关系研究中也得到了较为广泛的应用[73,88]。在侧重量化数量差异性指数的构建中,主要以计算相等权重或不同权重类型服务平均值、总和、差值或比值的形式来反映生态系统服务供给或需求关系,而在服务供需间则是以差值或比值的形式来获得相应指数,能够较好反映生态系统服务供给、需求或供需差异总体水平及动态变化[78,89]。例如,Sun等[90]通过计算美国亚特兰大城市群不同类型生态系统服务供给总和来构建生态系统服务综合指数,反映该区域多重生态系统服务相互作用、相互关联下的总体供给水平。

3.2 指标统计与分析

指标统计与分析是指基于统计学方法来对不同时空尺度下生态系统服务供给、需求或供需的数量关系进行定量分析与表达,主要包括相关分析、非约束性排序分析、聚类分析、约束性排序分析与回归分析等,是厘清生态系统服务间关系的基础方法与重要手段[1,6,31,40]。不同统计方法所针对的生态系统服务变量、驱动因素变量与研究应用方向均会有所差别,相关分析可以对两种生态系统服务间的权衡、协同与兼容关系进行识别,而约束性排序分析则可以对多重生态系统服务间、生态系统服务与驱动因素间关系进行研究[6]。例如,Sun等[81]在我国长三角城市群利用冗余分析对生态系统服务供需与不同驱动因素间关系进行了探索。除了上述方法能够对生态系统服务间的线性或非线性关系进行分析以外,微观经济学中最初针对供给侧经济问题而提出的生产理论也可以应用到生态系统服务关系研究中来,在供给侧可以通过估计不同生态系统服务供给的生产可能性边界,以该边界来描述一定自然环境条件与社会经济状况下的帕累托最优生态系统服务供给簇以及不同服务供给成本的线性或非线性变化[19,29,44];而在需求侧可以通过参与式权衡实验来分析不同尺度多样化利益相关方对生态系统服务生产可能性边界的认知,不同利益相关方所偏好的服务生产可能性边界类型以及权衡优先解决顺序会有所差异[52]。例如,Vallet等[28]在哥斯达黎加雷文塔松河流域利用生产可能性边界对不同生态系统服务供给间关系进行了研究,发现该种方法能够切实反映不同服务供给间关系的非线性特征。

3.3 情景制定与模拟

情景制定与模拟是指设置不同关键驱动因素在不同时期可能的变化情景,并对不同情景下生态系统服务进行模拟与比较[31,36,66]。在情景制定中,一方面可以了解不同生态系统服务对自然环境因素变化的差异化响应。例如,Bangash等[91]在地中海略夫雷加特流域对比了基线情景与气候变化模拟情景下不同生态系统服务的响应情况。另一方面也可以研究不同时空尺度社会经济因素变化下不同生态系统服务间关系情况,来指导生态系统服务管理措施的科学制定。例如,Zheng等[92]在我国海南省生态功能保护区通过比较不同土地利用变化情景,选取并提出了能够改善多重生态系统服务供给、减少与消除服务供给间权衡关系的管理措施。由于仅根据自然环境或社会经济因素变化来进行情景设置在一定程度上简化了生态系统服务不同驱动因素间的跨尺度时空相互作用,综合两方面因素来制定情景将有利于全面理解不同驱动因素对生态系统服务的不同影响。例如,Bateman等[93]在不同土地利用变化与气候变化情景下对英国多种生态系统服务价值进行了模拟,比较了不同气候变化情况下不同土地利用政策措施对生态系统服务价值的影响。

3.4 空间制图与分析

空间制图与分析是指通过地图绘制与图层运算来直观反映生态系统服务供需及其关系的空间异质性特征[19,40,69]。空间制图结果不仅是多种生态系统服务指数构建、指标分析与情景制定的数据基础,也可作为生态系统服务指数评估、指标统计与情景模拟结果的空间直观表达。例如Li等[47]在我国陕西省利用偏相关分析与空间制图对每两种生态系统服务供给间关系强度与方向的空间差异性进行了反映。除了常规统计分析外,在空间制图基础上还可以进行叠加分析和探索性空间数据分析来对生态系统服务间关系及其驱动因素进行研究[6,35,82]。叠加分析是指对多种生态系统服务供给或需求及其驱动因素空间图层以相等权重或差异化权重进行空间叠置。例如,Dittrich等[94]在德国通过空间叠加分析的重叠百分比例来探索生态系统服务簇与相应社会经济环境簇空间分布特征间的对应关系。探索性空间数据分析则包括空间自相关分析与冷热点分析等,可以对多重生态系统服务供给或需求的空间集聚特征以及高值或低值区域进行识别。例如,Rocesdiaz等[83]在西班牙加泰罗尼亚结合增量空间自相关分析与热点分析比较了不同空间粒度下不同生态系统服务热点区域分布以及空间自相关特征变化。

4 生态系统服务供需关系研究展望

4.1 切实强化生态系统服务供需关系形成机制分析

生态系统服务概念实现了从自然环境系统到社会经济系统的关联,厘清生态系统服务供需关系形成机制将有利于加深对人地耦合复杂系统的综合理解,促进对生态系统服务供需关系的科学管治。尽管以往研究已利用不同定性或定量方法对生态系统服务供需驱动因素进行了分析,但针对生态系统服务间相互作用与关联关系机制的研究仍尚待深入。提高多重生态系统服务供给,改善生态系统服务供需状况,不仅仅是要对服务供给或需求的数量与类型进行规制,更是要对生态系统服务供给间、供需间与需求间关系进行调节。为了制定有效的生态系统服务供需关系调控措施,就要求综合利用不同生态系统服务供需关系研究方法,辨析生态系统服务间所存在的相互作用与关联关系;对不同类型服务间所存在的相互作用形成机制、关联关系形成机制或者同时存在的相互作用与关联关系形成机制进行识别、理解与区分;分析不同生态系统服务间是否存在单向或双向相互作用以及这些作用的形成机制、影响效果与影响程度。在此基础上,探讨不同生态系统服务间关联关系形成的驱动因素类型与数量,明确生物多样性、地理多样性、气候变化等自然环境因素和土地利用、制度、政策、经济、人口等社会经济因素对多重生态系统服务供需关系的影响路径、影响效果与影响程度,关注这些驱动因素对不同生态系统服务供需关系所可能产生的非线性效应、阈值效应、域外效应、尺度效应、累积效应与滞后效应,研究不同生态系统服务供需关系对相应驱动因素的复杂响应特征。

4.2 深入揭示生态系统服务供需关系时空尺度效应

系统掌握生态系统服务供需关系时空尺度效应对于优化生态系统服务供需关系具有指导性作用。在目前生态系统服务供需关系的多时空尺度集成研究中,仍存在一些研究短板。在不同空间尺度下,尽管生态系统服务供给间关系的研究已较为丰富,生态系统服务需求间与供需间关系研究还相对缺乏。需要加强不同空间尺度下生态系统服务需求簇、权衡、协同与兼容关系变化特征的研究,对比不同地区生态系统服务需求簇中服务需求类型与数量差异,比较不同类型服务需求间与供需间权衡与协同的类型和强度区别,进而逐步建立生态系统服务供需分区分级管治机制,协调不同区域不同类型生态系统服务供需关系,缓解生态系统服务供需不均衡状况,确保不同层级生态系统服务供需管治政策的科学性、连续性与一致性,实现生态系统服务效益最大化。在不同时间尺度下,生态系统服务供给或需求评估的数据可得性与方法适用性等问题在一定程度上限制了对多重生态系统服务供需关系时间尺度效应进行分析,相关的研究相对较少。对此,需要加强不同时间尺度下多重生态系统服务供给量间与供给量变化量间关系、需求量间与需求量变化量间关系以及供需间关系变化特征研究,尤其是生态系统服务作为由自然资本存量所产生的流量,不同服务流量变化量间关系也是反映生态系统服务时间变化的重要方面,亟需重点探索。在此基础上,可针对生态系统服务供需关系时间尺度效应提出适应性策略,为生态系统服务供需可持续管理提供决策支持。
